My work transforms chaos into creation, capturing the faces of today’s alternative generations—those with tattoos, piercings, and body modifications often absent from the fine art gallery world. Reflecting on Renaissance portraits, which celebrated the wealthy and privileged, I think about the countless people excluded from representation.

By portraying individuals from my community through this traditionally exclusive art form, I aim to celebrate the beauty of body modification. For many, it’s more than aesthetics—it’s a way of life. Self-expression is our religion, our identity, and our voice.
