About the Course

Join me for a painting workshop where we’ll transform second-hand textiles—canvas, leather, cotton, and more—into unique works of art! This workshop encourages you to reimagine old clothes, rugs, blankets, and textiles as creative canvases, giving them a fresh new look.

what you'll learn:

  • how to use acrylic fabric medium

  • how to apply acrylic paint

  • how to use screen printing ink

  • how to bleach print

  • how to heat seal your work, making it last

This workshop encourages:

  • buying second hand

  • community building

  • creatively repurposing materials

Supplies needed:

  • None! Just bring your hands ready to work and an open mind

  • Optional: you are welcome to bring your own garment from home, I just ask that its no larger than 2ftx2ft
